Okaloosa County Schools

Okaloosa County School District, with around 30,000 students in Florida's Panhandle, encompasses 31 schools, including 19 elementary, 8 middle, 4 high schools, and various specialized and community schools. The district offers a range of educational programs like Advanced Placement, Career and Technical Education, and STEM, in addition to digital learning and instructional support. Okaloosa County caters to diverse student needs with adult education options and special purpose schools, alongside programs tailored for military families. A focus on college and career readiness is central, along with professional development for educators.

Walton County Schools

Bay County School District in Florida educates over 28,000 students across 18 elementary, 6 middle, and 5 high schools. Additionally, the district includes multi-grade schools, charter schools, special purpose schools, and adult/technical education facilities. The district emphasizes Career and Technical Education, STEM, and Fine Arts, alongside digital learning. With a comprehensive approach to education, Bay County focuses on college and career readiness, inclusivity, and student services, offering specialized programs for military families and extensive transportation services.

Walton County School District in Florida, serving around 10,000 students, comprises 19 schools including elementary, middle, high, charter, and special purpose schools. The district prides itself on a broad curriculum, offering Career and Technical Education, Fine Arts, STEM Programs, and Advanced Placement courses. Focused on holistic education, Walton County provides diverse programs catering to various student needs, including adult education and services for military families. The district emphasizes college and career readiness, student services, and a safe, inclusive educational environment with comprehensive transportation services.

Okaloosa County Policing

Under the leadership of Sheriff Eric Aden, the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office serves over 180,000 residents and numerous tourists in Northwest Florida, providing a wide range of law enforcement services. The Sheriff's Office operates from its main administrative building in Shalimar and maintains full-service offices in Shalimar and Crestview, along with several smaller substations across the county. Their array of services extends from crime prevention and cyber safety classes to neighborhood watch programs and various community resources, emphasizing the safety and well-being of the community. In addition to their primary law enforcement duties, the office takes an active role in community engagement, offering programs like the Teen Driver Challenge and a citizen's firearms safety course, aimed at fostering a closer relationship between the police and the community. 

Walton County Policing

The Walton County Sheriff's Office, a full-service, state-accredited public safety agency, serves the entirety of Walton County, Florida. The office employs approximately 370 law enforcement personnel, including about 250 certified deputy sheriffs and 120 administrative staff. They provide comprehensive law enforcement services across Walton County, including the protection of the county courthouse and schools. The Law Enforcement Division encompasses various specialized units like SWAT, Aviation Unit, Beach Patrol, Dive Rescue Team, and K9 Unit. The sheriff's office also offers community programs such as Advanced Civilian Firearms Courses, Citizen Volunteer Program, Crime Stoppers, Neighborhood Watch, and Teen Driver Challenge. Additionally, they maintain a strong focus on safety and crime prevention, providing services like camera registration, found property assistance, and sex offender searches​​​​​​.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office, under the leadership of Sheriff Tommy Ford, is a comprehensive public safety organization in Panama City, Florida. The office provides a wide range of services, including field services with specialized divisions like Civil, East District, and West District. They have various specialty teams such as the Aviation Unit, Dive Team, Honor Guard, K9 Unit, Marine Unit, and SWAT. The Criminal Investigations section covers Crime Scene, Investigations, and Victim Advocacy, while the Special Investigations unit tackles more intricate cases.
